SM joins Independence Day celebration
SM City Rosales joined the nation in celebrating the 112th Philippine Independence Day on June 12, highlighted by the launching of a flag display made from corn husk created by Joy Crafts based in Basista town.
An art exhibit by children enrolled for the summer at Kids Can Day Care School of Villasis was also unveiled for public viewing.
The Moda Filipina Fashion Show, showcasing off-the-rack clothing from SM City Rosales Department Store and gowns by talented local couturiers Milton Salinas, Teddy Barrozo, and Billy Tamagos, was held on June 13.

2010 scholars
Meanwhile, the SM Foundation of the SM Group of Companies recently feted its 14th batch of scholar graduates at the SMX Convention Center.
The Sy family led by SM Founder and Chairman Henry Sy, Sr. and Mrs. Felicidad Sy awarded certificates to the scholars, who in turn rendered a song in gratitude.
SM Foundation has been assisting underprivileged but deserving students in its College Scholarship Program since 1983 and now lists 1,200 alumni.
