Pangasinan, a favorite Lakbay-Aral destination
LINGAYEN—The newly renovated Provincial Capitol Complex is now a favorite destination of Lakbay Aral (Study Tours) of local government units.
The most recent visitors were staff and employees of the Baguio City Mayor’s Office and various departments of the Baguio city government led by Mayor Reinaldo Bautista, Jr.
“We came here to see the place, to see the transformation of the Capitol. We were here a long time ago and only today do we see that because of these changes, we can see how professional the province government has become,” said Bautista.
“The improvement that I’ve seen is already a clear signal that under Gov. Espino’s leadership, the Province of Pangasinan will really be as great as it used to be,” Bautista added.
The group later proceeded to Bolinao where it conducted team-building and planning activities.
Ramon Morden, executive assistant to Governor Amado Espino Jr., personally guided the group in a tour of the offices inside the Capitol Building, the workstations in the Finance Building, the Sison Auditorium, the Provincial Library and the Capitol Resort.
Aside from Baguio City, other LGUs that visited the Pangasinan Capitol Complex included La Union, Camarines Sur, Bicol, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Isabela, Pampanga, Ilocos Sur and Vigan.
