Officials take their oaths
THE newly-elected and re-elected officials of Pangasinan led by Governor Amado Espino Jr., will be sworn into office on Monday, July 28, in ceremonies to be held at the newly refurbished Sison Auditorium in Lingayen.
Taking oath with Espino is Vice Governor Jose Ferdinand Calimlim, and the provincial board members: Napolen Fontelera Jr. and Teofilo Humilde Jr. (1st District); Von Mark Mendoza and Raul Sison (2nd District); Generoso Tulagan Jr. and Angel Baniqued (3rd District); Jeremy Agerico Rosario and Mojamito Libunao (4th District); Danilo Uy and Clemente Arboleda Jr. (5th District); and Ranjit Ramos Shahani and Alfonso Bince Jr. (6th District).
The oath-taking, to be officiated by Regional Trial Court Judge Georgina Hidalgo, will be held following a Holy Mass to be celebrated by retired Bishop Jesus Cabrera. Side honors will also be accorded Governor Espino and other local officials by the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office.
DAGUPAN
In Dagupan, a thanksgiving mass will be held to celebrate the success of the first ever automated election and the victory of Mayor-elect Benjamin Lim at the refurbished St. John Metropolitan Cathedral on June 30 at 7:30 a.m.
Msgr. Renato Mayugba, auxiliary bishop of the Lingayen-Dagupan archdiocese, will officiate the mass to be followed by an inaugural program at the Dagupan City Astrodome that will highlight the oath taking of Lim before Regional Trial Court Judge Florentino Dumlao Jr.
To be inducted with Lim are re-elected Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez and Councilors-elect Maybelyn Fernandez, Marc Brian Lim, Jesus Canto, Karlos Liberato Reyna, Librada Reyna, Jeslito Seen, Alipio Serafin Fernandez, Luis Samson Jr., Redford Erfe-Mejia and Alvin Coquia.–LM
