FISHKILL ALL OVER AGAIN
FISHKILL ALL OVER AGAIN–Some P50 million worth of dead bangus are left floating following a new fishkill that hit the Caquipotan Channel between Anda and Bolinao town, a repeat of similar incidents in 2001 and 2008. The fishkill is attributed to the lack of dissolved oxygen in the water (due to overstocking) simultaneously with the occurrence of neap tide where there is lack of tidal movement.
