A DAGUPENO AT THE HELM–Felix Lopez, an alumnus of Dagupan City High School, takes his oath of office as Commissioner of the Traffic and Transportation Commission of the City Of Buena Park, California before Ms. Russell, Assistant City Clerk. He was subsequently elected Presiding Chairman of the five-man body, charged with the review and approval of projects undertaken by the city’s Transportation Department and prepares recommendations for legislation by the City Council. The commission also coordinates with the Traffic Division of the city’s police department in the enforcement of related laws. Lopez has also distinguished himself as the president-elect of the Rotary Club of Cerritos-Artesia, District 5320 and as Division Chief, Asia and Pacific, International Affairs Directorate, of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. Felix is the son of Pedro “Pete” and Norma Lopez of Lasip Grande, Dagupan City.
