Seminarians stage play on St. Vianney
THE Mary Help of Christians College Seminary (MHCCS) in Dagupan City and the Lay Formation Center (LFC) will stage an all-seminarian play on the life of St. Jean Marie Baptiste Vianney, the patron of Parish Priests, this month at the Federico Limon Hall of the seminary.
Play dates are on Feb. 18, 19, 20, 21 at 6:00 p.m. and tickets are sold at P500, P300, P150 and P90 for students.
The play, titled “Padre Juan Vianney Konpesor”, is written by Seminarian Danille Chad Pecson and directed by Fr. Jonathan Songcuan.
Reverend Father Mario Sanchez, in-charge of the production, said this stage play is part of the Year for the Priests celebration.
The funds from the ticket sales will be used to build a new basketball court for the seminarians and to repair the seminary.
