Why today’s mothers are the nurturing kind
BEING a mother is said to be the most challenging yet fulfilling profession. Filipino mothers, in particular, are known for being malambing and maalaga.
Filipino mothers are prepared to do everything they can to ensure the health and happiness of their kids especially providing for the success and security of their children’s future.
They make it a priority to prepare meals that are delicious and healthy, as well as baon (packed lunches and snacks) for their kids to ensure the quality, cleanliness, and nutrition of the food they eat in school.
Most Filipino mothers today have developed the habit of providing milk to their school kids to support their optimal growth and development. Modern Filipino mothers find no real need to buy expensive and fancy things to show their love to their kids. They demonstrate love their children best by taking care of their needs, expressing affection, and raising their children to be intelligent, imaginative, responsible, loving and successful grown-ups.
