Manay Gina ready for 4th District contest
THE green light is on for the congressional bid of Gina de Venecia in the 4th District.
She will file her certificate of candidacy for the position to be vacated by her husband, Rep. Jose de Venecia Jr., who will finish his last term of office on Monday.
Mrs. De Venecia, known as “Manay Gina”, initially considered running for senator but decided to instead run for a seat in congress to “continue the good works of my husband”.
Manay Gina said if she is elected, her husband will remain as the “father of the 4th District” and will act as her partner in serving the people.
Her slogan in the campaign will be: “Serbisyong 2 in 1: May Gina na, may Kuya Joe pa!”
Manay Gina is San Fabian, where she is a registered voter.—LM
