Tokyo Tokyo opens at CSI the City Mall
THE biggest Japanese quick service chain in the Philippines, Tokyo Tokyo, has finally arrived in Dagupan City!
Tokyo Tokyo, with more than 60 branches in its fold, had a soft opening on Friday of another restaurant at the ground floor of the CSI Mall in Dagupan City.
The franchise in the city is operated by North Luzon Food Corporation headed by Jayjay Co and Maryann Fernandez Co.
Tokyo Tokyo’s best sellers include beef bowls in three different flavors), the Whatta Tempura (jumbo Prawn Tempura), the Pork Tonkatsu (breaded porkloin with sweet sauce), and the Fried ChickenKaraage all served with delicious Jasponica Rice.
Mrs. Fernandez-Co admitted that she chose to operate Tokyo Tokyo’s franchise because it is her children’s favorite, never missing a Tokyo Tokyo meal whenever they visit Manila.
Tokyo Tokyo’s formal grand opening is set on October 9 at 9:00 a.m. with Mayor Alipio Fernandez Jr. and Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez together with members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod as special guests.
Preceded by a motorcade, a mass will be celebrated before the blessing of the facility. Cosplay performers (teenagers wearing modern Japanese costumes, i.e., anime, manga, hentai, J-Pop) will add color and excitement to the affair.
