TAYUG, Pangasinan–Presidential Management Staff Secretary Hermogenes Esperon Jr. yesterday advised Pangasinenses to take precautionary measures following advice from Pagasa that more typhoons were coming to the country especially Northern Luzon and Pangasinan.

He asked Agriculture Sec. Arthur Yap to make white wheat available in the 6th district in the face of an approaching storm Thursday night.

“In these difficult times, we are warmed by Filipinos who by their fealty to their countrymen will not hesitate to rush to their fallen brethren,”

Tasked by the President to head the national government’s relief operations efforts, Secretary Esperon said “our blessing is that there are far more Filipinos who do heroic deeds than a few souls who take advantage of the misfortune of others.”
