Joe, Gina de V in daily medical, dental mission
COMPLEMENTING his distribution of Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) cards, Rep. Jose de Venecia Jr., with his wife Gina, launched a daily medical and dental mission in the fourth district of Pangasinan.
The mission was launched in Mangaldan on September 14, initially covering 10 barangays before making the rounds in 10 barangays each in Dagupan, San Fabian, San Jacinto and Manaoag.
De Venecia said the medical dental mission will cover all the 140 barangays in the district.
The daily medical and dental missions are undertaken every day, except Sundays and holidays, with the help of doctors and nurses from the rural health units.
Mrs. De Venecia said these efforts will later include Hepa B vaccination, initially to barangay officials and barangay health workers, and an anti-dengue drive in all the barangays.—LM
