DWAD grads now leaders in their chosen fields
THE Divine Word Academy of Dagupan (DWAD) has produced a long list of graduates across the years who succeeded and became leaders in their chosen fields.
Among them are Capt. Raul R. Ubando (Batch ’78), businessman Antonio Valdez-Seen (Batch ’80), and Ma. Lourdes Garcia Aque, the class valedictorian of Batch ’78.
The three are among hundreds of graduates of DWAD who confirmed their attendance at the school’s grand alumni homecoming on November 21, which will be hosted by Batch ’73, spearheaded by Dagupan Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez.
UBANDO
Ubando, a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy, is now a Navy Captain with a Master’s degree in Management (Major in Public Administration) from the Philippine Christian University, aside from finishing nine other military courses. Presently the Commander of the Naval Logistics Center, FSF in Cavite City, he is a well-decorated Navy Officer who has held 29 positions.
SEEN
Antonio Valdez-Seen is a successful entrepreneur in the bakery business. A member of Batch 1980, Seen is the chairman of the board /treasurer of Panaderia Antonio Food Corp. He had specialized training at the Center for Culinary Arts, the Sylvia Reynoso Gala Culinary Arts Studio, the Philippine Federation of Baker’s Association and the California Culinary Academy.
AQUE
Aque earned her college degree at the University of Pangasinan and is now a certified public accountant. She is currently the general manager of C.P. Garcia Insurance Agency Inc. with offices in the cities of Dagupan, Baguio, Urdaneta, San Fernando, Santiago and Tuguegarao.—LM
