BINMALEY–Nine mayors in the province have signed a resolution endorsing Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III for President and Makati City Mayor Jejomar Binay as vice president for the 2010 elections.

The signatories are Binmaley Mayor Simplicio Rosario, Urbiztondo Mayor Ernesto Balolong, Dasol Mayor Noel Nacar, Aguilar Mayor Ricardo Evangelista, Calasiao Mayor Roy Macanlalay, Malasiqui Mayor Arman Domantay, Burgos Mayor Domingo Doctor Jr, Agno Mayor Jose Pajeta Jr. and Bayambang Mayor Ricardo Camacho.

Rosario, speaking for the group, said they intend to gather more support for Aquino and Binay through a signature campaign on the resolution.

“We see and believe that Sen. Noynoy Aquino is the best cut and has the moral ascendancy to continue and promote the said advocacies for this country and its people,” the resolution reads.

The group also recognizes the achievements of Binay, saying, “We believe that combining the qualities of these two gentlemen is an unbeatable tandem of vision and action and has become the overwhelming people’s choice to lead this country.”#
