Dear Mr. Velasco, I am the father of Joy B. Rojas and Jose B. Rojas Jr. They both graduated from MGSSHS in 2002. Jose Jr. was the class valedictorian at that time, while Joy was in the top 20.
To set the record straight, it was Jose Jr. who graduated summa cum laude (Biological sciences), while Joy was magna cum laude (Liberal arts) from Bakersfield College, CA USA.
Joy is now a registered nurse (RN)in the state of CA, employed by Delano Regional Medical Center, Delano, CA. She will begin her master’s degree at UC Riverside next fall.
Jose Jr will graduate from UC Berkeley (BS neuro-biology) next winter. He will be joining the US Air Force Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Spring 2010.
My wife and I have 4 more kids pre-schooled in the Mother Goose system, who are excelling in their academics and school activities here in CA. Consider the following:
Janno Rojas, MGSSHS freshman 2002. Top 3 of his class, #1 singles player lawn tennis varsity team, Cesar Chavez High School, Delano, CA 2006. Janno is a senior taking BS in Kinesiology, at CalPoly, San Luis Obispo, CA. He will graduate in fall 2010.
Jesus Rojas, MG Playskool 2002. Class Valedictorian, #1 singles player lawn tennis varsity team, Cesar Chavez High School, Delano, CA 2008. Sophomore (Liberal Arts) UC Berkeley.
Jockey Rojas, MG Pre-school 2002. Top of his class of 350 students, #1 tennis player junior varsity team, Cesar Chavez High School, Delano, CA 2009.
Joel Rojas, MG Pre-school 2002. Top of his class of 250 students, team captain basketball varsity team, La Vina Middle School, Delano, CA 2009.
