HERO LAID TO REST—PMA classmates of fallen 1Lt. Dell Jun Evangelista carry the flag-draped coffin of their ‘Mistah’ during interment rites last August 22 in San Quentin. The young army lieutenant was killed in action during an encounter with Abu Sayyaf and suspected MILF band in Tipo Tipo Basilan. His superiors are preparing a recommendation for the awarding of Medal of Valor to the fallen hero who continuously barked orders to his platoon for a counter-attack despite his mortal wounds.
