Fama joins FBINAA confab

LINGAYEN–P/Supt. Harris Fama, chief of police of this capital town, will be among the Philippine delegates to the 12th Conference of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Associates (FBINAA), Asia Pacific Chapter to be held in Brisbane, Australia from August 9 to 13.

The theme for the conference is “Regional Partnership-Global Solutions”, which is a follow up of the previous conferences held in Indonesia and Thailand that attracted speakers and delegates from over 18 different countries.

National Bureau of Investigation Director Nestor Magtaring will head the delegation.

“I am privileged to be chosen as one of the delegates”, said Fama, a graduate of the FBI National Academy in the United States.

The conference will bring together senior executives and key personnel from different agencies and organizations mandated to counter-act terrorist threats throughout the Asia-Pacific region and the United States.

Key topics at the conference will also include cyber-crime, pedophilia, drug enforcement, money laundering and fraud.—LM
