Dagupan grants incentives to outstanding employees
AFTER paying tribute to its five outstanding employees two months ago, the Dagupan City government rewarded them with P10,000 cash gift each for their exemplary performances.
Earlier named as “Best in Internal Client Service” was Jonnafel Radovan of the City Accounting Office, while Angela Basto of the City Treasurer’s Office was named “Best in External Client Service”.
Dr. Evelyn Dy of the City Health Office was recognized as “Outstanding Health Worker”; Francisca Sanggalang of the City Social Welfare and Development Office as “Outstanding Community Worker”; and Michael Mejia of Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) as “Outstanding Traffic Enforcer”.
The outstanding employees were earlier feted in formal ceremonies during the Agew na Dagupan celebration last June 20.
The awarding of the cash gifts was done last Monday during the Monday flag raising ceremony.
City Administrator Alvin Fernandez, in his inspirational message, challenged the awardees to continue espousing positive character values in order to continue winning the people’s trust.
He said the cash grant was a small token for their exceptional service to the people.
The young Fernandez likewise encouraged the rest of the city’s workforce to emulate the performance of the awardees.
Mayor Alipio Fernandez Jr. again congratulated this year’s awardees and urged them to continue as an inspiration to their colleagues in rendering public service.—CIO
