6th district towns get new classrooms
ROSALES–Ten public schools in the 6th District will get a new building with two classrooms, courtesy of the Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCCI) and the national government.
The beneficiaries are the national high schools in Rosales, Umingan, San Quintin, Natividad and the integrated schools in San Nicolas, Balungao, Sta. Maria, San Manuel, Asingan and Tayug.
Presidential Management Staff (PMS) Secretary Hermogenes Esperon Jr., who led the ground-breaking ceremony for the project last week, thanked the FCCCI for its support.
Esperon said there remains a significant lack of classrooms around the country even as he noted the administration’s investments in infrastructure for education.
“This is never enough if possible, we add 50 percent more,” he said.#
