LINGAYEN–Badminton enthusiasts in the province have organized the Pangasinan Badminton Club on July 5 and are now preparing for the Governor Amado Espino Jr. Badminton Tournament on August 15.

The officers of the new group will be inducted on the day of the tournament, to be held at the CSI Stadia in Dagupan City.

Elected officers are P/ Chief Insp. Bingo de Asis, president; Jonas Santillas, vice president; Mike Ocampo, secretary; Michelle Polgar, treasurer and Rodney Caronongan, auditor.

The advisers are Dr. Precy Fernandez, Police Senior Superintendent Sonny Verzosa and Colonel Jess de La Cruz.—LM
