Dagupan’s two ‘Most Wanted Men’ nabbed
DAGUPAN’s second and fourth most wanted persons, both allegedly members of a notorious gun-for-hire group, have been arrested on December 17.
Arrested were Danilo Lomibao, 42, married, and Servillano Estrada, 52, fisherman, both residents of Pugaro District in Dagupan.
Supt. Mariano Verzosa, the city’s police chief, said the capture of the two men effectively neutralized the criminal group which is suspected to be behind several killings in Dagupan and other parts of the province.
Both Lomibao and Estrada belonged to a group led by Edwin Bisaya, who was gunned down several months ago.
Estrada, a chief tanod in his barangay, was aware that a warrant was out for him and did not resist arrest, Verzosa said.
Lomibao and Estrada were nabbed based on an arrest warrant issued by Judge Robert Rudio of the Regional Trial Court Branch 40 here for the murder of a certain Alex Dignongo from Sta. Barbara town in 2003.
Another group member, a certain Bonifacio de Vera from Lucao District, is still being hunted by the police. #
