Thirty pass PMA exams here

THIRTY out of the 209 Pangasinenses who took the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) entrance examination at the University of Pangasinan (testing center on August 31 passed and will now be scheduled for the succeeding medical and physical exams.

The 30 Pangasinenses, six of whom are women, will compete with 912 other passers nationwide for at least 300 slots for cadetship at the PMA.

Navy Lt. Cdr. Carlo Resurreccion said the passing percentage this year is much higher than in previous years.

Maria; Arpel Caasi (Bolinao); Jayson Cansino (Binmaley); Reymart Daduya (Calasiao); Darwin de Jesus (Sta.Barbara); Lianne Grace de Vera (Natividad); Jobelle Diego (Urdaneta City); Richard Dumlao (Aguilar); Ma.Esther Berlie Frias (Basista); Gerson Garcia (Labrador); Ariel Lacasandile (Malasiqui); Jayson Lazaro (San Carlos City); Edison Mateo (Bayambang); Katherine Gale Mejia (Binmaley); Bryan Mendez (Alaminos City); Evangeline Mae Monderin (Bayambang); Mark Jay Muyargas (Mangaldan); Marvin Oquin (Agno); Carl Anthony Padua (Bayambang); Darwin Charles Paragas (Mangaldan); Jareed Reyes (Urdaneta City); Christer Tabelon (Bugallon); Kenneth Tamayo (San Carlos City); Mark Tandingan (Mapandan); Dennis Urbano (Binmaley); Vincent Valdez (Aguilar); Marlon Jan Velasco (Urdaneta City); Michael John Verzosa (Dagupan City); and Marc Anthony Apolinario (Urdaneta City).

Cadetship at the PMA covers free education, a monthly salary, and after graduation, commissioning to either the Army, Navy or Air Force of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.—CSR
