Re ‘Espino lashes at Braganza’

“I don’t give a damn about these shotguns”, a childish and misguided outburst from a bellicose Gov. Espin-off on the saneness of this wretched avenue to peace and order.

Come now, it was his idea and realizing of late, that it’s one hell of a hot potato wouldn’t suffice. Espin-off will have to live with it – this idiocy!

Mayor Hernani Braganza of Alaminos is right . . . Espin-off is blatantly wrong. Mayor Braganza in his foresight saw the coming of a disaster, that the justification of arming non-eligible barangay captains, is beyond righteous . . . beyond the norm of civilized democratic precepts being initiated during time of peace.

Woe unto Espin-off, a governor blinded by power. A governor who couldn’t grasp the monstrosity of a blunder – the ineptitude – who tried to ramrod this ill-conceived moneymaker prodded by vultures – who only bat for themselves – comes the day of reckoning when Espin-off . . . is left to fend for himself.

One year to his administration and doubts are starting to come out on the propriety of his qualification to govern.
