Rayos, new president of Dagupan East Rotary
THE Rotary Club of Dagupan East will hold its induction program on July 18 at the Star Plaza Hotel with Health Secretary Francisco Duque III as guest of honor and speaker.
Leading the officers to be inducted for Rotary Year 2008-2009 will be Dominador “Boy” Rayos, director for student affairs of University of Pangasinan.
Rayos vowed to abide by the theme of Rotary Club International “Make Dream Real” during his term.
Other officers to be inducted are Mario Lim, 2009 president-elect; Florencio Co, vice president; Antonio Patungan, secretary; Alex de Venecia, assistant secretary; Roberto de Guzman, treasurer; Jonathan Alipio, assistant treasurer; Rex Lor, public relations officer, Ramil Gutierrez, auditor; Dionicio Borromeo and Luis Samson Jr., sergeants-at-arms; and Nelson Yunchiongtian, protocol officer.
Members of the board of directors are Bobby An geles, membership; MacArthur Ang, service project; Honorato Mejia, Rotary Foundation; Jason Lim, Public Relations; and Christopher Blancaflor, Club Administration.
Immediate Past President Michael Fernandez becomes the ex-officio member of the board.
Rayos said he will continue the club’s various institutional projects, particularly the feeding project in Barangay Talibaew, Calasiao.— LM
