Pangasinan products featured in Luzon Island Fair

Various products from Pangasinan were showcased at the five-day 3rd OTOP (One Town, One Product) Luzon Island Fair held at the Megatrade Halls of SM Megamall in Metro Manila from July 9 to 13.

Natalie Dalaten, chief of the business development division of the Pangasinan office of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), told The PUNCH that the products in Pangasinan featured at the fair were the bagoong of Lingayen, duhat wine of Bugallon, dried mango of Manaoag, bangus of Dagupan, dried fish of Sual, muscovado sugar of Mapandan, and puto of Calasiao.

Dalaten said the province has at least 15 active OTOP located in strategic areas.

The fair featured the various products from the Luzon Island as part of the micro, small, and medium enterprise development week and showcased the unique and distinctive products and services of OTOP in the eight regions and 37 provinces of Luzon.

The fair was organized by the DTI Luzon Regional and provincial office and the Bureau of Domestic Trade.—CSR
