Panda donates school supplies
The Panda Fighter Brigade of Dagupan City recently visited and distributed school bags and supplies to pupils in three schools.
The beneficiaries were pupils of the city’s island schools, namely Salapingao Elementary School, Pugaro Elementary School and Suit Elementary School.
At the Salapingao Elementary School, the school officials conducted an orientation on fire prevention and disaster preparedness for the island community on the day of the distribution of the donated supplies.
Maria Linda Ventenilla, SES principal, initiated the holding of the orientation and appointed teachers Perla Torres and Sarah Delos Reyes as project organizers.
Some 110 pupils of Grade 1 to 3 chosen to receive the donations.
The orientation was attended by school’s 16 teachers, parents, guardians and community folks of Salapingao.
The school’s officials and teachers joined the parents and residents in thanking the Panda Firefighter Brigade for its gifts to the children.
