HRA Class ‘62 holds reunion
THE Class ’62 Alumni of Holy Rosary Academy (HRA) of Manaoag held its 2nd reunion on February 16 at the Center Beach, San Fabian.
The event was organized by Arnold S. Arquines from Illinois, U.S.A., assisted by Dr. Romulo S. Tabayoyong and wife Ruby.
The celebration started with a thanksgiving mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Manaoag, officiated by Fr. Rafael Quejada.
A motorcade around the major streets of Manaoag and neighboring barangays followed before the group proceeded to San Fabian for the program and other activities.
It was thru the combined efforts of the two former classmates, who thought of bringing the others together for the first time 45 years after those high school days that made things possible. Angelina Salinas Angeles also participated while Romana Generosa, though not present generously contributed to the success of this affair.
Earlier, a similar reunion was held in the United States participated in by Arnold S. Arquines, Benigno Rufo, Engr. Arturo Nano and his wife Melba Apolinario, Belen Garcia Muñoz, Ms. Ledesma Guadiz Sison, Lydia Mejia Marquez, Corazon Mondina Lopez, Ms. Arsenia Acain Andrada, and Liberato Aquino who flew in from Japan for the event.
