COLEGIO de Dagupan (CdD) has registered the highest passing percentage among nursing schools in Pangasinan for the second time in row.

This was gleaned from the results of the Nursing Licensure Examination last December 2007.

With a 56% passing percentage of its remaining first-batch nursing graduates, CdD maintained its prestige and surpassed the performance of many universities and colleges in the province anew. The national passing percentage is only 43%.

CdD Pres. Dr. Voltaire Arzadon attributed this second highest achievement in the nursing licensure exam performance to the school’s constant encouragement and monitoring of the performance of its nursing students.

CdD has been consistently producing graduates that excelled and performed creditably in board examinations for ECE, Licensure Exams for Teachers, CPA, and now Nursing registering a topnotch passing percentage.

Meanwhile, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recently awarded Colegio de Dagupan the Category A (t) status after it was assessed last year for the Institutional Quality Assurance through the Monitoring and Evaluation (IQUAME) program.

In CHED Memorandum Order No. 58, series of 2007, dated Nov. 14, 2007, the college’ status under Category A was approved, meaning it belongs to the top institutions that offer quality teaching services. #
