MGSSHS hauls medals in various competitions

MOTHER Goose Special Science High School (MGSSHS) students hauled top medals in various academic as well as sports competitions.


ELINZANO

Science wizard France Riel Elinzano garnered 1st place in the Third Year Level while Krystel Lizzette de Vera grabbed 3rd place in the Second Year Level during the recently held DepEd Science Quiz Division Level in Dagupan City.


CHUA

Adson Chua clinched the 1st place medal and was declared the “Highest Pointer” as his proud co-winners and teammates Jay Estolero and Mae Lourdes Utanes collected their own medals during the DepEd Math Challenge Division Elimination.

Alheus Simon M. Andrey, Kara Sophia Ignacio and Yvanne Joshua Rabe who were declared Rank 5 First Year Level also qualified for the regional contest.

In sports, the MGSSSI Varsity girls grabbed 1st runner-Up position during the Private Schools Athletic Association Tournament (PRISAA) and 1st Runner-Up in DepEd Dagupan City Development Basketball Championships.

The Spectrum drew the firepower from Princess Cavestani who was awarded Smart’s Most Valuable Player. The hard driving team was composed of Cavestani, Jenina Cayabyab, Eiya Paragas, Achala Andrey, Alyssa Anteneo, Monina Libunao, Kara Nicole Aquino, Christalene Laoang, Cherith Lalas, Eurica Valeriano, Valen Joy Decano, Maxine Cerezo, Christie Anne Valeriano, Lyana Laquian, Joana Labuguen and Monica Libunao.

Meanwhile, the MGSSSI Varsity boys, coached by P.E. instructor Kenneth Dumlao, were 3rd runner-up in the Milo Olympics and also received the Sportsmanship Team Awards during the PRISAA games.#
