Shooters join 1st Borro’s Cup

      Practical shooters from the different gun clubs in Pangasinan and nearby provinces participated in the 1st Borro’s Cup Invitational Shootfest held at the Dagupan Practical Shooters Association (DPSA) Firing Range in Bonuan Binloc on December15.

      Police Supt. Dionicio Borromeo, Dagupan City police chief, said more than 100 practical shooters joined the two-day event.

      The level II—Philippine Practical Shooting Association (PPSA)-sanctioned competition had five stages with 106 rounds for the law enforcer and civilian categories while two-stages for media category.

      Borromeo said some personnel from the Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) joined the law enforcer category.

      He said the proceeds of the two-day competition will be used for the marksmanship training program of the Dagupan City police station to enhance the skills of every police personnel of the station.–CSR
