Miss Dagupan 2007, other beauties crowned
It was one splendid night full of pageantry.
The occasion was the crowning of Miss Dagupan City 2007 Melanie Grace Heng of barangay Lasip Grande and her royal court during a well-attended coronation night at the city plaza on Wednesday, the eve of the Dagupan City Fiesta.
Heng’s court included Plinkee Delos Reyes (barangay Caranglaan) 1st runner up, Camille Ann Castro (barangay Bolosan) 2nd runner up, Alannah Cuison (barangay Pogo Chico) 3rd runner up, and Arnelynne Balolong (Bonuan Boquig) 4th runner up,.
Apart from winning the Miss Natasha special award, Heng, 17, received a P30,000 cash prize from the city fiesta executive committee and other special prizes from pageant sponsors.
The first and second runners up received P20, 000 and P10, 000, respectively, while the third and fourth runners up were given P5, 000 each.
Special awards given that night were the Smart Texters’ choice won by Rosalyn Claveria of Lasip Chico and the Miss Dagupan Practical Shooters Association bagged by Krizzlyne Regin Cendaña of Herrero-Perez.
