Magic Idol Season 2 ‘big night’ in Mangaldan, Dec. 13

Aspiring songbirds from different towns and cities in the province will compete for the big night of the Magic Idol Season 2 on Dec. 13 at Mangaldan Auditorium at 7:00 p.m.

Presented during a press conference held at the Masarap Grill of Magic Club in Guilig, Dagupan City last week were the budding song belters composed of seven aspirants for the Bulilit category and another seven contestants for the Teen category.

The Magic 14 contestants are: Janelle Espino of Nueva Ecija, Randy Cortez of San Carlos City, Florence Viado of Rosales, Rexon John Ocampo of Dagupan City, Zareanne Palma of Manaoag, Nikki Marmolejo of San Fabian and Maica Paula Manangan of Calasiao for the Bulilit Category.

For the Teen Category, Geneda Camille Sebial of Villasis, Ryan Jay de Vera of Mangaldan, Jomar Jay Pascua and Kendra Cyrill Vilanueva both from Sta. Barbara, Arah May Rodriguez and Ethel Jeremiah Ilagan both from San Carlos City and Desiree Joy Gonzales of Dagupan City.

These young singers are considered the cream of the crop among the 300 aspirants who underwent rigid screening, according to Jojo dela Fuente, marketing manager of Magic Group of Companies which is behind this talent search.

Showdown among the contenders were held on Sept. 22, Oct 6, 20, and 27 until only 14 of them remained.

Prior to the big night, the contestants underwent personality development sessions, voice and diction lessons, and proper stage performance projection, among others.

Big cash prizes and lots of surprises are at stake. #
