SAN CARLOS CITY—Athletes from this city emerged as the overall champion in the 18th Regional Meet of the Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA), which San Carlos City hosted from November 29 to December 2.

The city garnered 67 gold medals, 41 silver, and 24 bronze.

All the gold medalists will compete in the National PRISAA games in Zamboanga City in April next year.

In other sports, Carleñans were either 1st runner-up or 2nd runner-up.

This year’s PRISAA was participated in by athletes from Laoag City, Dagupan City, La Union, Pangasinan II and San Carlos City. #
