LINGAYEN– Members of the provincial offices of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) have undertaken Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Tactical Skills Training here last week to enhance their criminal investigation skills.

Senior Superintendent Isagani Nerez, provincial police director, said two representatives from the US Embassy, Cesar Oligario Jr. and John Sepinoso, both assistant legal attaches, came to conduct the training.

The training covered new anti-crime approaches deemed crucial for investigations involving global concerns, said Nerez.

He added that the joint training of about 50 PNP and NBI men demonstrates the good partnership between the two agencies within the province.

Echo seminars will be scheduled for other law enforcers to be conducted by those who participated in the training.

The training was organized by Superintendent Harris Fama, head of PNP Pangasinan’s Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group, and lawyer Jose Doloiras, provincial head of NBI Pangasinan. The two are FBI National Academy associates. #
