Gov. Espino to report on his ‘First 100 Days’
‘HONEYMOON’ IS OVER
LINGAYEN–Gov. Amado Espino Jr. is set to make his “First 100 Days Report” to the people of Pangasinan on Monday at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center in Lingayen.
Among the things that Espino is expected to report on is the house cleaning he undertook in the Capitol during his first three months in office as governor.
In this house cleaning, he reportedly corrected systems and practices that he deemed to be inefficient and realigned them according to the priority needs of the province.
“We cannot go into another house or a place without first putting our own house in order not only in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in and around the Capitol but also by reducing the bloated workforce of the provincial government, maximizing their effectivity according to given tasks,” he said.
At the start of his term, Espino sought the support of the local media by observing a “honeymoon” period within his 100 days in office.
Espino earlier created a Study Management Group tasked with improving the management of the provincial government through more efficient systems and procedures.—LM
