THE new officers of Soroptimists International-Dagupan, led by its new president, Elena Callanta, were recently inducted into office by SIPR Governor Linabelle Ruth R. Villarica and City Mayor Alipio Fernandez Jr.

Fernandez was also the guest of honor and speaker during the Northern Luzon District Meeting hosted by SI-Dagupan at the Star Plaza Hotel Dagupan City.

Other officers include: President-elect Priscilla Cruz, Recording Secretary Priscilla Jimenez, Corresponding Secretary Ma. Cecilia Acuña, Treasurer Corazon Benin, Assistant Treasurer Perla Novales, PRO Cecilia Maala, Auditor Delia Coquia and Elmina Fernandez, immediate past president and board director.

Other members of the board are: Edna Gonzales, Dolores Teng, Angelita Carolino, Leila Cruz, Elizabeth Balingit, Marina Abella and Lourdes Marteja.

Among the new members inducted by SIRR District Director Josie Francisco include lady councilors Librada Fe “Dada” M. Reyna and Farah Marie G. Decano, Zenaida Bautista, Ma. Edna Soledad Gonzales-Blancaflor, Maria Victoria Dayang, Carmelita S. Duque, Filomena Eliscupides, Rosanna Enriquez, Adela Frianeza, Thelma Gochuico, Gloria Inocencio, Nenita Saingan, Mila Springate, Nilda Fernandez, and Maribeth de Guzman.

The Soroptimist Northern Luzon District Meeting was participated in by SI-Baguio, SI-Hope, SI-Pines, SI-San Fernando, La Union, and SI-Pangasinan East Urdaneta. #
