UL stude is No. 5 highest in nursing exam
Univesity of Luzon added another feather to its cap when its nursing graduate placed 5th in the tough Nursing Licensure Examination given last June 10 and 11.
Shalymar S. Zabala, a consistent honor student and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mario Zabala of Mayombo, Dagupan City, landed fifth among the more than 70,000 examinees, scoring an average of 86.89.
Dr. Mac Arthur Samson, UL president, said Zabala made Dagupeños and Pangasinenses proud because of her feat.
He added that the passing of the 24 university’s graduates validates the university’s firm commitment to academic excellence especially in the field of nursing education.
