Ravanzo elected 2008 JCI prexy

DAGUPAN CITY Information Officer Ryan Ravanzo ran unopposed as president of the Dagupan Jaycees Inc. for 2008 in the last August 17 election.

He will be the 57th chapter president of the JCI.

Also elected as members of the board of directors were Atty. Rowena De Vera, Emmanuel Legaspi, Griselda dela Cruz, Nancy Reyna, Vincent dela Cruz, Gryson de Venecia, Celestina Reyna, Geca Sta. Maria, Marvin Carvajal, Remito Cresencio Jr., Rene Gatchalian, Nonoy Mejia, Glenn Lopez and Arnold Azurin.

The new set of officers was proclaimed by the chapter’s election committee led by past presidents Willie Lomibao, Arnulfo Alipio and Councilor Librada Reyna (chairperson).

Ravanzo had served as regional vice president for JCI in Northern Luzon.

He was formerly the chief of staff of former Vice Governor Oscar Lambino and was once president of JCI Malasiqui Mataraki.  He also served as legislative assistant to former provincial Board Member MacArthur Samson Jr.

Prior to his election, Ravanzo was executive vice president and an area training director of JCI Philippines.

He joined the Junior Chamber 15 years ago at age 19. #
