THE Powerhouse Team Unity in Dagupan City led by former Immigration Commissioner Al Fernandez and former Councilor Belen Fernandez brought their campaign to the grassroots again on Tuesday when they wooed the voters in the Malimgas Public Market, the Centro Mart Market and the Magsaysay Fishmarket.

Former Councilor Fernandez said this was part of their series of sorties to study the problems of the common working men, such as market vendors, butchers, baggage carriers and others.

The two Fernandezes were accompanied by reelectionist Councilors Chito Samson, Michel Fernandez, Farah Decano, Dada Reyna, Danilo Torio, Jose Netu Tamayo and Alex de Venecia and newcomers Dr. Jesus Canto, Atty. Alfie Fernandez and Fred Quinto.

“It was a simple familiarization tour of the market, yet all of a sudden they (vendors) crowded us and began to hug Immigration Commissioner Fernandez, expressing their joy for his return to Dagupan politics,” said former Councilor Fernandez, also president of the giant CSI Group of Companies.

The team also went on to campaign in sitio Calamiong, barangay Pantal, Mayombo as well as the PNR site in their desire to reach out the marginal sector in Dagupan.
