NEWPO campaign in city promises to be different
A NEW breed of politicians fostering better governance were introduced to Dagupeños during the first day of campaign sorties of the Lim-Mata ticket on April 2 in barangays Tebeng and Mayombo.
The ticket called “Team NewPO” is led by Mayor Benjamin Lim, running for a congressional seat in the fourth district. His son, Brian Lim, is running for mayor with running-mate Vladimir Mata for vice mayor.
The younger Lim said that while it is true that most of the members of the team are still young, being young is never a disadvantage, rather an advantage when it comes to management and leadership.
He said that Team NEWPO, which is full of passion and vision for betterment and reform, is the opposite of traditional politicians.
Mayor Lim strongly endorsed the Lim-Mata ticket as the right team which can continue the worthwhile programs that his administration embarked on.
