JdV says BSL desperate

Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr. said he will not engage himself in the “political black magic” espoused by his adversaries, calling their sustained personal attacks as a sign of his critics’ “intellectual bankruptcy”.

“Our people deserve a better kind of politics. Let us concentrate on viable and progressive programs that will uplift the lives of our people, not this dirty and poisonous politics that would only push our constituents to hopelessness,” De Venecia said.

De Venecia’s political bandwagon continues to enlist multi-sector adherents, convinced that the Speaker’s achievements and performance and high level leadership are far superior to his rival’s “mediocre and myopic” options.

“I have a concrete program for economic takeoff toward sustained growth which would chart the country’s multi-faceted development, not just in the 4th district of Pangasinan. We should think beyond the frontiers of our province. This is the only way we can be globally competitive,” he said.
