United Way offers free eye medical services
THE United Way (UW) of Pangasinan and Cities Inc. is sponsoring “Operation Sagip Mata”, a free eye check-up and free eye cataract operation at the UW headquarters along Alvear Street in Lingayen on Thursday January 25, 2007, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m..
A team headed by Dr. James Coshuming of Richstone Surgical Center will perform the operations after screening eye patients.
“Everyone is invited, especially our poor and indigent brothers, friends, and relatives suffering from eye problems, to avail of this free of charge eye check up and eye cataract operation, which has become very expensive nowadays, said Director Jaime P. Lucas, immediate past president of UW and committee chairman of the project.
Soroptomist International of Dagupan and Kiwanis Club of Bangus Pandaragupan will co-sponsor the project.
