THREE groups of Filipino-American doctors will arrive in Dagupan City on different dates sometime in February to conduct their respective medical missions for the benefit of indigents in Dagupan City and Pangasinan.

The medical mission is being coordinated by the Region 1 Medical Center, headed by Dr. Jesus Canto, which is now screening all the patients who will undergo minor and major surgeries.

Dr. Canto said the doctors are not only bringing medicines for their patients but also equipment which they will leave behind to R1MC after the medical mission.

The first group from the Philippine Medical Association in Georgia, U.S.A will be headed by Dr. Grace Duque-Dizon of Dagupan City and Dr. Vic Bautista of Sta. Barbara. They will be in Dagupan on February 5 to 9.

The second group from California will be here February 11-18. They will be headed by Nonong Bosto of Lingayen, Dr. Loka Reddy and Dr. Ben Lim.

Dr. Reddy is a male Indian doctor who will be welcomed here by the Indian community headed by Ashuck Vasandani.

The third group from Ohio, headed by Drs. Jess Romero and Mel Simons of the Rotary Club of Gallaputis in Los Angeles, California will arrive on February 19.

Helping them in this medical mission are members of the Rotary Clubs of Delaware and Dagupan.

Canto called on all residents of Pangasinan who are suffering from tumor and have lumps in their stomach, hands, neck, and back, to submit themselves for screening to R1MC so they can undergo surgery if necessary.—LM
