DR. Catalino Rivera, president of the University of Pangasinan, called on all member institutions of the Association of Private Schools, Colleges and Universities (APSCU) to adopt a systems approach to ensure continuous improvement of educational programs.

In his inaugural address as   president of the APSCU Metro-Dagupan City chapter, Rivera said these systems are of two levels, both of which are interactive, first in the institutions and second in the association.

“We believe that for continuous improvement in education to occur, a systems-based approach is not only appropriate but one that would bring about constancy and reliability in producing the desired results,” he said.
