THE Pandaragupan Youth Orchestra will host a free concert “An Evening of Classical Music” to be held on Sept. 23, Saturday, at 7:00 p.m. at the old St. John Cathedral in Dagupan City.

Jeslito Seen Sr., chairman of PYPO, said several classic master musicians will perform in the free concert, together with the Lyceum Northwestern University Chorale.

The concert will be sponsored by the Center of Performing Arts located at the CSI The City Mall in Lucao, Dagupan City in cooperation with the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Seen said the PYO is a non-profit organization composed of professionals, business leaders and volunteers seeking to develop a most admired orchestra of less fortunate but musically-talented children who can perform classical or standard music.

The group seeks to inculcate musical literacy (able to read and write notes) to children which will lead them to have an opportunity to obtain educational scholarship in the future.

Seen invited the public to see the free concert for them to listen to the PYO members sing the songs of their lives “as we provide them the musical instruments that they need such as violins, flutes, cellos and others”.
