Dagupan City Dagupan City councilor Michael B. Fernandez will be installed as Grand Knight (chapter president) of the Knights of Columbus Pangasinan Council 3711 on October15, 2006.

Fernandez previously served as Youth Director and as Chancellor and has been an active member of the council for almost a decade.

Among those who have served as Grand Knight of Council 3711 were former city mayors Angel B. Fernandez(+), Alipio F. Fernandez Sr.(+) and Liberato Ll. Reyna Sr.

The other elected officers for Columbian Year 2006-07 are Sir Knights Armando Abalos (Deputy Grand Knight), Franklin  Velasco  (Chancellor), Glenn Lopez (Recorder), Carlito Manuel (Treasurer), PGK Daniel Terrado (Advocate), Tranquilino Zamora Jr. (Warden), Franco Casilang (Inside Guard), Carlo Reyes (Outside Guard), PGK Sebastian C. Garcia, Gregorio Zamora and  PGK Alfredo Cerezo Jr. (Trustees).

The Fraternal theme for Columbian year 2006-07 is “Making a Difference for Life”.
