LINGAYEN – Finally, the work on the Lingayen-Binmaley diversion road will be completed before December this year.

This assurance came from the 2nd Pangasinan Engineering District amid increasing complaint about the traffic build-up in the area.

District Engineer Rodolfo Dion said the contractor of the project was given a time frame to finish the work and will pay the required penalty daily if it fails to meet its   timetable.

Meanwhile, he noted that the completion of the improvement of the diversion road has started to improve the economy in the two towns’ area as he noted those restaurants, gasoline stations and others commercial establishments had sprouted in the area.

He appealed to motorists   and commuters to bear the inconvenience for another two months. – A.P.E.
