Lambino guest at LNU in-house seminar
Student leaders of the Lyceum Northwestern University trooped to the university’s multi-purpose hall last August 24-25 for the two-day Student Leadership Training and Planning Seminar.
Vice Gov. Oscar Lambino was the guest of honor and speaker during the opening program.
The activity was undertaken in line with the LNU’s mission and philosophy that the moral obligation of any institution of learning is to prepare students for life, provide him with intellectual training in a democratic atmosphere and develop him to become an integrated personality in an ever progressing world.
Topics discussed included Campus Leadership by Anna Kristina de Vera, editor-in-chief of ULNOS; Leadership Core Values by Pastor Mac Ranie Reyes, Counselor of the International Baptist Church, Peace and Order by Col. Edgar Basbas, Dagupan chief of police; and Campus Discipline by Col. Candito Quijardo, dean of the Office of Discipline.
The affair was attended by Student Personnel Services coordinators/advisers.
The message of Dr. Gonzalo Duque, LNU president who is in the United States, was delivered by Dr. Irmina Francisco, executive director for Academic Affairs.
