Cendaña writes ’30’
FORMER Information Minister Gregorio Cendaña passed away Friday after he suffered a heart attack in their home in Manila. He was 67.
Cendaña, then the Information Minister of President Ferdinand Marcos and an elected assemblyman of Pangasinan, was a native of San Nicolas town.
His family has yet to announce when the remains of the former information minister will be brought to Pangasinan.
Before serving as Marcos’ information minister, Cendaña was director of the defunct National Media Production Center.
Before his death, Cendaña was a board member of the Motion Pictures Review and Classification Board.
He is survived by his wife Dr. Lily Cendaña, and their children and grand children.
