Torio-Gonzales

Educator and former City Councilor Edna Torio-Gonzales as incoming president will lead the new set of officers to be inducted during the 7th Induction Ceremonies of the Rotary Club of Uptown Dagupan (RCUD) on July 2 at the Grand Ballroom of De Luxe Restaurant in Dagupan City.

Bunye

Press Secretary and Presidential Spokesman Ignacio Bunye will be the guest of honor and speaker during the affair and will be introduced by lawyer Gonzalo Duque, charter president of RCUD. Rotary District Governor Mar Ocampo will do the honor of Charging the incoming club officers and directors while Rotary Governor Florentino Cinense will be the inducting officer.

The other officers to be inducted together with Torio-Gonzales are: Lucy Honrado, vice-president/president elect; Edwin Cancino, secretary; Reynaldo Curameng, assistant secretary Rhazzle Coquia, treasurer; Jose Rosario, assistant treasurer; Letty Ugto and Dahlia Sorio, auditors; Marivic Cerezo, PRO; Marietta Cayabyab, assistant PRO, Noli Taliño and Maximo Magsano, sgt. at arms; Elena Callanta, Trinidad Alcantara, Evelyn Torio and Feliciano Bautista, protocol officers and Rebene Carrera (outgoing president), ex-officio.

President Torio- Gonzales, who will also celebrate her birthday during the affair, is the president and founder of Ednas School (Dagupan), Ednas School of San Carlos and Ednas School of Alaminos. She is also the president of Rotary Club of Uptown Dagupan Foundation and was the past district chairman of Innerwheel Club.
