Rang-ay Bank donates school gate in Dagupan

The West Central Elementary School II in Dagupan City has found a new benefactor in Rang-ay Bank.

The bank recently donated a new front gate, replacing the dilapidated gate, to effectively help secure the school premises.

Ives Q. Nisce, Rang-ay’s president and CEO, accompanied by Fernando Picazo, Rang-ay Bank Dagupan branch manager, led the ceremonial turn-over of the gates to school officials led by Aurora Domingo, assistantschools division superintendent and officer-in-charge of the Division of City Schools; Dr. Ely Disimulacion, district supervisor, Marissa Perez, school principal.

The project is the bank’s contribution to the Adopt-a-School Program of the Department of Education (DepEd) and is among several community-based projects lined up for the bank’s year-long celebration of its 50th anniversary.

West Central’s new gate is a solid concrete arch with two swing gates made of cast iron. Its old front gate had long been destroyed by the killer quake that devastated many parts of Dagupan and other areas in North Luzon in July 1990.
